Knowledge of herb craft is an essential part of Witchcraft, and Gerina's book hits the mark with this herbal grimoire. With the addition of this book to the magical library,
creation of herbal amulets and enchanting incense for spellcraft – as well as herbal healing – will provide the reader with the necessary knowledge to accomplish these tasks.I think this book would be of interest to witches or anyone with an interest in herbs. The reader will find meaningful information regarding history, folklore and healing properties which I have not seen in other herbal books.
This book is thoughtfully organized, making it a source for easy reference. Definitely not
"Wicca Lite", Gerina does not hold back – touching on mind altering as well as the more darker and dangerous properties of plants.I especially enjoyed the sections on gypsy herb magick and herbal superstitions. Gerina Dunwich has once again provided the magical community with an invaluable resource that will remain timeless. "Herbal Magick" makes an excellent companion to her previous book, "The Wicca Garden."
